“Turning red” is an animated film produced by Pixar. Directed by Shi Zhiyu and voiced by Rosalie Chiang and Sandra Wu, it was released in North America on March 11, 2022. Introduction to Turning Red’s Plot
Li Meilian (voiced by Jiang Jin’an), a 13-year-old girl, grew up in a typical Asian family in Toronto. Her family runs an ancestral temple open to the public as a tourist attraction, where the ancestors of the family are enshrined. Red is abrupt, dangerous, exciting and energetic. The form of animals declares the free release of instinct and nature. Xiaomei, who incarnated as red panda, found a hidden self.
